If you were arrested for DUI, it is likely that your license was suspended. Under Florida law, an unlawful breath alcohol level of .08 or above, or a refusal to submit to a breath test, results in a suspension effective immediately.
This suspension is separate and apart from your criminal case, regardless of the outcome of your criminal case.
If the suspension was for a refusal to submit, and in the future you are again arrested for DUI and again refuse to submit to a breath or urine test, you would be committing a first degree misdemeanor.
